Module Transfer

The activity of the Center of Competence "Clean technologies for a sustainable environment - water, waste, energy for a circular economy" is focused on innovation, through the development of applied science and appropriate measures for the implementation of science-intensive solutions which will feed high added value of the Bulgarian economy and to mediate the transformation to the functioning circular model, and to contribute to the transformation to a sustainable society with a low environmental footprint, adapted successfully to the climate changes.

The commercialization of the scientific results within the Competence Center is related to the practical application including the results of industrial activity, in order to bring new or improved products, processes, and services to the market in the following areas of industry, economy, and society - energy and energy, environment, closed water cycles, health and food, physical sciences and engineering, social innovation and e-infrastructures.

A technological transfer and commercialization unit has been set up at the Center and implements the methodology developed under the H2020 Program to determine the technological readiness level of technologies/inventions proposed by research clusters / scientific teams, and will accept those results that have a minimum grade 6 or "TRL 6 Technology demonstrated in relevant environment".
