On this day of celebrating all enlighteners and men of letters, we are pleased to share a video of the participation of Assist. Prof. Dr. Ivaylo Yotinov from the Faculty of Biology at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and researcher at the Center of Competence Clean & Circle, in the Conference marking the 135th anniversary of the founding of SU “Vasil Levski” in Karlovo. In his presentation, the young scientist spoke about his personal journey – from high school through university studies to his academic and research development.

As the author himself noted in his speech: “... together with colleagues and partners, we are also working on modern models for developing good professionals with proactivity, dedication, and perseverance. In the past few years, all our hard teamwork has laid the foundations for the most advanced Clean Technologies Center in the Balkans, whose new building will be part of Sofia University. In this center, along with the education of students, we will be able to foster innovations in water and waste management, in the development of renewable and alternative energy sources – in other words, activities aimed at achieving a circular economy in Bulgaria.”
