17:45 – 18:30    Topic 2: Technology Readiness Level (TRL) in the application of biotechnology

• General overview of Technology Readiness Levels
• Link between TRL and European research funding (Horizon Europe & ERC)
• Definition of the TRL concept
• Benefits of applying the system
• Review of all nine TRL levels with examples
• Forms of independent work
