On November 28, 2024, the Clean & Circle Competence Center participated in the "Career Development Day" event at the Faculty of Biology, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. The event aimed to present departments, centers, and laboratories with information for high school students, undergraduates, and master’s students regarding participation in projects, career opportunities in science, practice, and business, as well as pursuing doctoral studies. Various opportunities provided by Clean & Circle in relation to dual education—learning by doing—were presented.

A key focus was placed on innovation activities based on cutting-edge achievements in research and applied work in biotechnology and clean technologies. Opportunities for cross-disciplinary training between natural, technical, and business sciences, along with best practices, were showcased. Emphasis was also placed on functional clean technologies and technological biopreneurship. Young and future staff members of Clean & Circle were specially presented.

The academic year 2024/2025 was officially opened at Sofia University. At the Faculty of Biology, the opening was accompanied by the annual Freshers 2024 event, aimed at introducing new first-year students from all programs to the various departments, laboratories, and units of the faculty.
